In June 2009, I applied for the job of MLA for Chester-St. Margaret’s and I was honored to be hired for this important position. I feel very proud everyday to work on your behalf.
Chester-St. Margaret’s is a large constituency with many beautiful and unique communities. The constituency runs from Bayside to Martins Point and inland past Canaan and New Ross. The similarity of every community comes from the people who live there; people who are proud of their history, people who give of themselves to help others and people who work hard for their families.
It has always been important to me to support my community and to give back as a volunteer. Therefore, venturing into the world of politics to help others and to be involved in positive change
seemed to be a natural step to me. I work hard to represent everyone and to improve our communities.
From 2009 to 2013 I have been able to bring $28 million of road paving and repairs to the constituency. I have succeeded in bringing over $3 million in community grants and business investments.
There is more work to be done and I am committed to continue to make a positive difference in the lives of the constituents of Chester-St. Margaret’s.
